There are no bridges or causeways connecting Seabird Key to the mainland.  Guests can only access Seabird Key by boat. Upon your arrival to Seabird’s mainland base in Marathon, Florida, guests are greeted by Seabird’s manager. He will assist in loading the luggage onto the 19′ Boston Whaler. From the moment you cruise down the canal, only 5 minutes by boat, your private island adventure begins in the Gulf of America.

Sunbathe, swim and snorkel on your own private beach. Enjoy the year-round water temperatures averaging 75F-85F or 24C-30C. Here exclusivity means tranquility and restful privacy.

Your Private Island Home

Seabird Key’s beautifully crafted “Old Florida” style home (with all modern conveniences including A/C) offers multi-level porches, expansive decks, and a Widows walk towering 35 feet above the mangroves and wildlife sanctuary.

Accommodates up to 8 comfortably with its two Queen bedrooms, each with its own private bath, and an upstairs loft with two bunk beds and another full bath.

The galley style indoor kitchen is fully equipped for gourmet cooking.
