Friday, March 6th
Wrap Day! We spent the day on the island packing up all the equipment and cleaning up the island.
Another detail was in charge of putting the house back in order after the control room had been dismantled. We cleaned the kitchen, swept the floors and put the furniture back to the best of our knowledge. Seabird Keys' clean up crew is coming tomorrow and they'll be able to replace the furniture into the proper positions. Barging the equipment back to the mainland went much smoother than taking it to the island. The first barge out was the caterer's mobile kitchen. Boy, are we going to miss their food.
We have left Sean's Boat and Reva's Shelter on Seabird Key as mementos of our visit, and taken with us memories of a wonderful week. The people that didn't need to be on the island to wrap did various things. Lighting Director, Tony Girolami went down to Key West for a couple of hours. Makeup Artist Helen Gallagher got sunburned spending the day at the hotel pool with Kim Zimmer and Bill Bumiller.
After all the work was done we took advantage of Marathon's nightlife and had a blast. We have had a great week here in Marathon, Florida. We worked hard and had a great time with each other. We hope you have enjoyed watching what we had so much fun making.
