The call time was 7:00 a.m. this morning. Our Production Assistant, Ilene Frankel, has been great about giving wake up calls all week, getting up at 5:30 a.m. to do so. I'm sure she's happy to be able to sleep in tomorrow.

Taping began today at 8:30 a.m. Once again the weather was absolutely gorgeous. We were so lucky all week. The sun was out, the wind blowing and the water warm.

We moved from one location to another without incident. It almost seemed like the planes knew when we were taping and when we weren't, because we hardly had to stop taping at all for plane traffic today.

Cameraman Robin Beurki came up with a great idea today. Instead of taking Kim and Bill out to sea in "Sean's Boat" we put the boat on the edge of a barge. By doing that it was much easier to get audio for the scenes and the cameramen were now rolling on the same waves as the actors were.

The caretaker of Seabird Key got to be on camera! Bryant Edmonson played our local fisherman. His first couple of lines was just voice over, but eventually he did appear on camera.

Finally, we loaded onto the boats for our last scene! When Executive Producer, Paul Rauch, arrived at our hotel, Faro Blanco Marine Resort, he saw the light of a lighthouse turning around the property.

Since the lighthouse is GL's symbol, Paul decided that would be the perfect way to end our remote. He called our Head Writers James Brown and Barbara Esensten and asked them to write an additional scene incorporating the hotel's lighthouse. What a high note on which to end the day, and a glorious remote.

We finished at 8:00 p.m. tonight and went exhausted, but exhilarated, to dinner.
